tournament and winning only 1 game is seen as post season success, then it really is time for a change. I never want to settle for mediocrity like that school in the midstate. Who, by the way, seems to be in our situation as well. A coach takes over from a legendary coach, and the downhill slide begins. However, since they have twice been all the way to the top of the mountain, Holbrook only gets one year to fix this down there, or he is probably gone.
In our case, making a change has absolutely nothing to do with disrespecting what Jack Leggett has done, as the pumpers would try to make you believe. The problem is, what he has NOT done anytime recently. Which is, field a team that plays good fundamental baseball. Our last game was a prime example, and microcosm of the entire season. Neither of Pepperdine's first two runs should have scored. Both were results of misplayed, or mishandled, balls in the outfield. Poor handling of pitchers abounded. Lack of pitching depth ultimately did us in. These are not things that used to happen. It is clear to me that coaching on a lot of levels needs to change. We obviously have lost a lot of assistant coaching talent that has gone on to success other places. This parallels TB's tenure in football in so many ways. And, should end the same way, with a coaching change starting at the top. Drad, the time is now to save this program, not after yet another subpar season, and even less returning talent. Coach Leggett has made his millions, he will certainly not be destitute, time to retire him with some honor left, and put another captain at the helm.

HOW PITIFUL that some would accept this!! I don`t even know what to say!maybe this is why we we have sunk this low; because some will accept this pitiful season!
