Do you want Mafah to still get the start and majority of carries?

I wish nothing but the best for Shipley, but I believe he is a distraction for this team. Something is very off this year.
I would like to see us move on. Yelling at coaches on the sidelines used to get you dismissed...quickly. Maybe it's the new thing with players getting paid. Aside from that, I don't see the desire in Shipley that was there last year. He seems to run up the middle, run into the back of someone, and fall down. Or, he drops a pass. Or, he fumbles.
Shipley does get a few yards. But I call those "carry yards". In other words...if you get the majority of the carries you are going to pick up some yards. I just don't see anything outstanding about him anymore.

Along the lines of what you say he tries to make people miss but almost always seemed to get hit solid and dropped. Wants to be elusive and make people miss but seldom does

Not quick enough, obviously. But, his 'tude does need changing. Not NFL material, IMHO. Wonder if he'll stick kit out one more year here or elsewhere.

Yup. Shipley is our problem. Amazing how a dumpster fire of an OL and WR's (save Stellato and Brown) that will not finish plays makes Cade n Ship our problem, but Mafah is the savior.
If only he was starting we'd be amazing.

If Shipley is not 100%, then show me some Mafah and Haynes against ND.

He can't get it done no more. Too slow, too small...

He is a better receiver and blocker, IMO, than Mafah.

Wow! I thought I would get flamed for expressing that opinion.
I have noticed he hasn't grown like most players do as they go through strength/training/diet here at Clemson.

They should split 50/50.
Shipley is a solid RB for us. He’s tough and can catch. A couple swing passes were way off target yesterday, but overall this year it seems like he can’t quite break the long ones.
I’d like to keep them both happy and on the team, so mix them up situationally. They are better than anyone we’d bring in via transfer, so hopefully both are content to split time next year too.
