As most of you already know, I lost my entire family to

a Humboldt Squid attack off the coast of Baja, near a small fishing village called Punta Prieta back in 2017. Since then, I have not been able to venture into the water because the fear is far too great, but today a teen age boy fell into the swift currents of the Indian River and I believe I may have been the only one to notice.
Anyway, I hope he is OK, I have not seen anything in the local news yet, but I know there are a lot of Bull sharks in those waters and I fear the worst is possible. But the other part of me says that if he survived, then he should go on to have strong children and a bountiful life.
Please say prayers for him and I will will cross my fingers as an extra measure.

Bull sharks do not return to the Indian River until at least May in La Niña years because the water is too cold for mammals or fish to survive more than 3 minutes. I am sure the young man is OK.
