both impacts the ACC as well as how it could provide a glimpse into where the sport as a whole is headed.

What the ACC just did approving unequal sharing paves the way for the big two for the same thing. Bama will be asking why should they carry SC and Vandys of college football. The TV owners will demand not to pay them all the same.

It’s either going to cause some to step up or continue to be the doorstep. Some schools I don’t believe can survive as far as winning anything. The strong will get stronger. Some may need to find additional revenue streams if they are serious about catching up.

I have also thought about something like that to happen with SEC and Big 10 teams, and this could be the hornets nest that needed to be thrown into those 2 conferences and hopefully they will be forced to make room for much better ACC FB first schools to join them with their scrub FB schools being shown the door!!!

It's the same for those two conferences with schools doing nothing to build up their FB program while all they're contributing is a hand being held out and collecting what the better FB schools have gotten the old way; they have earned it while the scrubs setting back with an outreached hand and getting paid from what others have earned.

I am really hoping that the TV networks will see this as a path to rid themselves of the scrub SEC and Big teams that they are being forced to pay for within their network lineups...

The BIG 12 started it all when they conceded special status to Texas when the Longhorn Network was created. We have been moving this way slowly until recently the question to me is can the schools like Vandy Ole Miss and Miss St as well as Wake and the northern schools make enough of a case to be in whatever the new league will look like. Vandy has already tossed a boatload of money into their football program as they seemingly see this very writing on the wall. The agreement the ACC signed just allows us, FSU UNC and I suppose Miami to move when needed.

It's a mess that I am no longer going to worry about. I'll root for my Clemson Tigers every week, and watch all their games. I have no say so in any of this, so I just want Clemson to succeed in any new sports landscape. I think we are well positioned to compete wherever we end up. I don't like the direction that college sports are headed, but it's going to get there regardless.
Go Tigers!!! Just win, and the rest will take care of itself.
