Again the Strength and Conditioning staff needs new leadership. In no way is it acceptable that the OL got pushed around by a 3 man rush and that double teams were pushed back into the play on pass plays and run plays. I know some of you get butt hurt and say this was proven to be a conspiracy theory but the proof is on the field. Guys do not get significantly faster or stronger while at Clemson and that is a massive issue. Kentucky looked bigger, stronger, and faster most of the game.

Maybe. I think the OL just kind of stinks, more so than usual. I hope Luke can make chicken salad out chicken you know what next year.

The OL gets bullied even with decent technique. I think that's my biggest red flag.

Luke is a veteran great o line coach. Our line will be much better . Their technique will be corrected and they will have better footwork. They will allow the defensive line to go up the field past the play. I have 100 percent confidence in Luke. Dabo is making the changes necessary to get us back to the playoffs. I’m sure that nobody thought Dabo would make these changes but he did. The run blocking is really good and I think the pass blocking is going to be miles better next year. Luke will also get us 5 star lineman like Jackson Carmen.

I believe in Luke as well very excited about his presence in that staff room. I also believe that there is some talent on the OL but it needs to be sharpened and honed physically.

Lol cop out response with no real answer to my question. I'm not delusional I know I don't know the best techniques to building a football player in the weight room. I do however have eyeballs and can see that when Clemson steps on the field with other contenders they do not look as fast, lean, or strong. I'm js Batson is close enough to retirement and it looks like fresh blood with a fresh take on training could be a huge asset to the entire team.

That isn’t true. Look at the coaches he has brought in. It is going to get a lot better. Clubnik needs more time to throw . That two point conversion pass was a thing of beauty. He is the real deal . He needs protection.

Speak for yourself and if you go back and look the OL was very average at best, Etienne and the QBs really put stress on how defenses could play in the box.

We will just have to wait and see how the oline develops in the off season . I know two weeks under Luke wasn’t what I hoped I would see. But Rome wasn’t build in a day even either. Go Tigers!

The Duke game was proof that our S/C program is not up to the task.
Also, remember when our starting QB blew up like a a deer tick. That should never ever happen. He only lost the weight cause he was hoping to get drafted not because Clemson FB was holding him accountable.

I tend to agree, to an extent. In the first quarter, Klubnik had all day. He was standing there, just hangin out, no cares. That changed as the game wore on. By the third quarter, he was running for his life, half the time. In my opinion, this is a combination of issues. We dont have a friggin wr that can get open. With no downfield threat, they wander around about 5-15 yards off the line. Klubnik hasnt matured enough, or doesnt have enough confidence to throw the ball. This makes the oline have to hold blocks for a long time, which wears them down. And, lets face it, we havent had the best coaching in quite a few years. Someone find out how many all-american linemen weve had in the last 10 years

DL come in built differently than OL, think about it logically you put your best athletic big men on defense in high school. Peter Woods great example came in day 1 ready to play D1 ball. And DL could still be used against your argument too bc Murphy lost a step after being at Clemson and Breese was out of shape after his first 2 years at Clemson.

I agree. Something is wrong. Not just with the O line but look at the team wide injuries. Way on more injuries the last few seasons than most teams. A bunch of D lineman who have been good as freshman but didn't get any better by their junior year. I remember people talking how Clemson looked like Alabama when they were playing them for championships. Clemson doesn't have that physical strong look compared to the top teams. They don't play like it.

the quality of food that they eat on a daily basis. They have the shiny nutrition station, but what are they putting in their bodies on a daily basis at the meal hall? I know it's all provided by Aramark, which in my experience isn't the best quality. Are we keeping up in the nutrition department? I know that is an arena that has seen a lot of change in the last few years.
