What happened last night was bound to happen. Let me preface this by saying that I have always been a Dabo fan, but I am losing a lot of faith in him these days.
When you have a coach who refuses to use the resources that are available, hires friends and family, and doesn’t adjust to the new landscape, sooner or later it’s going to bite you.
I hate what college football has become, but you still have to adapt if you want to stay relevant. Dabo has refused to do it. And it is killing us in recruiting and depth.
He gets paid way too much to ever field a team that shows the lack of effort and desire they showed last night.Yes, you’re going to lose games, and you’re supposed to sometimes, but not like we did last night. The coaches looked totally unprepared and so did the players. It looked like they all gave up after the first Louisville drive in the second half.
Very disappointed in the entire program right now. It’s sliding fast and I don’t see a way that slide stops or turns around without some major changes in staffing and philosophy.

Been saying Dabo needs to change it up for years now due to the changing landscape of CFB and nobody (besides a few) could see it.

To be fair though - he isn’t going change, has a contract and all manner of people are fed off that contract. So get used to this. I don’t like what CFB has become but it’s adapt or die.

I’m afraid he’ll ride this all the way down.
I’m also afraid we’re closer to the bottom than we realize. 7-5 is very likely this year, which will be the worst record since 2010?

For one I was pretty surprised. Clemson seemed to be clicking pretty well on offense, but last night they couldn’t block anybody on either side of the ball. It’s like watching Louisville play an FCS school

Well said, for me I thought we’d be able to navigate the conference slate before being exposed in Charlotte or maybe even the playoffs. Dabo needed a wake up call, he needs to adapt. He is fully capable of bringing the program back if he puts his ego in the back seat and embraces change
