I am excited, I am just wondering if he is the contingency plan if DJ decides to transfer. I think his experience is good and the Clemson system will be a lot better for Hunter than Northwestern's was.

Great fit for all parties.
Hunter looking like one of the smarter college QBs I’ve seen in a while.
Less than 4% of CFB players make it to NFL. Average stay is < 3 years.
Hunter has high chance getting into coaching.
Some of these kids beginning to do the math and realize that players that get into coaching, broadcasting, media, Etc gonna make much $$$ and have more solid career over 40 years than the 2% of guys that do make it to NFL and play for 2.8 seasons.

When I saw the headline "Clemson QB to Return" I thought for a minute Dabo had begged Chad Kelly into coming back and using his last year of eligibility with us, but for some people I guess you can never go home.
