Yes, you read that correctly, 1,236,000 people watched that crappy game on ABC.
as a point of comparison, The Fiesta Bowl with Powerhouse Central Floria and Baylor had almost 11,000,000 viewers
Last year, 6,000,000 tuned into the exact same bowl to watch UGA and Nebraska
The television show Dance Moms has 4.5 million viewers
350,000 are admitted to the emergency room on an average day, some from choking on their food when Conner Shaw took his helmet off in front of the camera.
The show Big Bang Theory has 17 million total viewers, 68x as many people that cared to tune into Wisconsin and SCU
60,000 colonoscopies are performed on an average day, so at least we did find one thing less popular than gamecock football.
Congrats Coots, not only does nobody outside of your fanbase give two ##### about your stupid football program, but you managed to make The Capital one Bowl the laughing stock of the entire Bowl season. Had your game not been on, more people likely would have been tuned into ABC by default.

LOL - yes the OP has his numbers all messed up but the reality isn't likely to improve much for your team. The SCar v Nebraska Capital One Bowl drew less than half (a 2.86 share) of what UGA/Nebraska drew last year (6.6 share). Since Nebraska is a constant it would appear that perhaps the rabid Gamecock faithful arent as rabid or faithful as they'd like us to believe. Or perhaps they realize that their fearless leader only cares about one team and similarly are disinterested in watching anything else. Tennessee would like to thank you for solely game planning the Clemson game that week - otherwise you might be playing Monday night. Hope it was worth it.
