Brian Kelly's ND teams have been known to suffer letdowns. This is another one waiting to happen.
They should still handle UVA unless Ian Book throws 3-4 interceptions.

UVA is equipped to handle the pass. All ND has been able to do is pass so far this season. They arguably have the best CB in the nation. Best tandem per Mcshay and they have #11 Snowden 6'7 DE. Fast. If Perkins and co. Don't turn it over and can get 1st downs I look for a UVA win. It will be different if ND discovers a running game. Perkins ability to create unscripted offense will also be key.

I think ND wins by ~10 because they just have better players at most positions, but if Perkins has a huge game running & throwing UVA might be able to pull it out. ND did have some issues stopping mobile QBs in week 1 and 2.

I think this will come down to UVA's offense. If they can stop the penalties and keep the ball moving against an average ND defense I think they have a good shot at the upset. UVA's defense has been strong this season and I don't think Book is anything special. ND could also come out flat after the loss last week.
I'm expecting a close game. I plan on betting UVA with the points but I will wait till close to kickoff. I expect the line to tick up closer to 14 as the public will be up on ND because of last week's game and they will be down on UVA as they are ACC and were out gained by Old Dominion last week (which I will chalk up to UVA looking ahead to this game)

UVA needs to win this. The rest of their schedule is very manageable.
Wake is ranked #24 currently in the coaches poll! And #26 in the AP. Keep winning Wake!
Nancy st. suffered a tough one up in West Virginia; but I could see them being ranked or just outside by the time we play! I don't think they will lose many in the ACC except Clemson and could be ranked by the end of it all.
