Same here. Cherrie tomatoes but regular tomatoes are about the size of a tennis ball. It will be a few more weeks until I'm eating a mater sandwich.

Yes we have been picking cherry, teaspoon, lemon, and romas for about 3 weeks now. The larger tomatoes should be about 2 or 3 days out.

Picked 9 beauties this am, mostly better boys. Also have been getting grape tomatoes for a week or so. Corn, all types of peppers, radishes as well as sativa and indica hybrids.

I grabbed my dad's last tomato last year after his passing at the ripe old age of 95. I took the seeds, germinated them and have 4 of his pants going strong.

San Marzano, Kellog Breakfast, Grape tomatoes.
Looks like the Kellog is not liking the heat, but the San Marzano and Grape are going crazy. Will be making tomatoe sauce for freezing in the next week or two!!

Born and raised in SC, but cannot stand tomatoes of any type…but my dad (86) LOVES to make sandwiches…Merita Old Fashioned, half a jar of Dukes mayo, and a little salt.

I’ve picked about 6 or 7 so far. I got a mature Better Bush from Tractor Supply and got it in the ground in early April. It started producing a couple weeks ago. It’s BLT time, now.

Live from the Upstate...I usually get the first ones around July 4th. Maybe a tad later this year due to the cooler weather. They've really grown in the last 10 days or so due to the longer days.
My Park's Whoppers have some the size of tennis balls.

Good looking mater plants. I take it you don't have issues with cut worms.
Use to plant a garden but haven't in several years.
When I did and I picked the maters if they were not ripe fully I would turn them bottom side up after picking and they would finish in a couple of days.

I take a stick about the size of a pencil and put it into the ground, butted up against the tomato stem! This usually stops the cutworms from wrapping around the plant stem!

Done the same here.
Knew a fella that would wrap a little piece of aluminum foil around the bottom of the plants. He would put in around 30 plants every year. He was very patient.

When the plants came bareroot from places like FCX and other farm stores, we would wrap a small piece of wet newspaper around the stem before planting. The cutworms would not try to chew through the paper.

Your garden looks great! Heavy mulch is important.
I have no Sun in my yard so grow from pots on my dock.
