Ever see Skip Wise play in his short stay at Clemson!
He was amazing.
Bad habits ruined a great career.

I played against Pete when I was in the sixth grade. He was playing two years up. He made us look totally inept.

Cool! That was a good Penn team. Fans probably had no idea after losing that game that Clemson team would challenge for the ACC Title that season, and was ranked for a lot of the season.

Yes. Best guard we ever had. Too bad it only lasted one year.

I saw him. He easily outshined Phil Ford.

Yes had season tickets for several years around his year. Terrible waste of talent. One of the best I've seen.

Drugs were his downfall. He was from inner city Baltimore and I’ve heard that he was main lining heroin when he arrived at Clemson.

…of another tragic outcome. Len Bias of MD, drafted by the Celtics, and died 2 days later from a cocaine-induced heart attack.
They had the world in the palm of their hands, and threw it away just like that. Tragic but 100% avoidable.

Yes. He was so smooth and had that unusual “behind the head” jump shot release. He schooled Phil Ford in Littlejohn.

Best guard I've ever seen at Clemson (Wise). Straight out of Baltimore area. Too bad Tates Locke had to play the role of "outlaw" to recruit him, Rome, Tree, Jo Jo Bethea, Dipasquale. What a line up. I saw that team take a 20-point lead over a Dean Smith UNC team at Chapel Hill in 1974. They lost that game. but I wondered where he got those players.
