Fly to San Antonio (1hr drive), Houston(2 1/2 drive, or Dallas (3-hour drive). The cheapest flights are into Dallas though.

Out of S. Fla they are all over $1000. Even going into Houston and renting a car (2.5 hr drive) it is still the same cost.

You can just do a simple Greyhound Bus trip that will take you close to 26 hours each way for a couple hundred.

Just going down for the game or are you going to do some tourist things along the way? I generally try to make the trip into more than just the game. Finding something else to do might determine where to fly into.

Frontier has a $298 nonstop round trip from Atlanta to Austin, leaving Friday afternoon and coming back Monday afternoon.

San Antonio as others have said. Went to Texas UF game earlier this year. San Antonio is much closer and has a lot of well priced flights
