Any chance Michigan stole signs last night?

You know, I have a feeling that back when Michigan was using the stealing system, they likely studied Alabama as well.
Especially when you’re a team who is now regularly competing for playoffs now, Michigan, you’re probably going to look into postseason opponents and study them.
Think Harbaugh still has knowledge on teams they’ve been playing, and maybe Alabama.

Maybe UA should have stole signs. The center has issues snapping the ball and OL blocking was suspect at times. The UA OB is a lunk! The UA defense needs to learn to cover RB's.

Whatever Michigan was doing with motion or alignment had Alabama’s D all turned around on a few plays. Looked confused at times. Surprising really.

Wasn't the game played with headsets and speakers in the QB helmets?

They studied any school they thought they would see in the playoffs... Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, etc.

Well seeing they may have thought of them as a future opponent I would say definitely. Did it matter I would say no, seeing Saban purposefully changed up all his signs just in case, which should every Michigan opponent. I would not think they would have anything on Washington but they may have had someone sitting in the stands videoing both sidelines last night.
They fired the guy and I’m not certain on the ins and outs of how it happened. Hard for me to believe Harbaugh would have known about it. Just seems out of character imo but then again there have been numerous people that have surprised me.

Out of character for who? Harbaugh? The coach suspended 6 games in one year for 2 separate investigations.
He’s an NFL coach, there is no character.
He needs to get the he** out of this sport.
And the fact that the NCAA has not given them probation is sickening.
They’ve cheated to gain advantage over other teams that don’t have that andvantage. Even if it happened a while ago, or whenever, it still has helped them win games in previous years.
Therefore, recruiting is better because of winning, and so on.
Program that’s being built with a cheating foundation.

With all the attention on Michigan for that, if Alabama didn't do enough to prevent it, I'd say it's more on them if it happened.

Read on something may have been the players talking but they did change their signals. I mean this is Saban I’m fairly certain he had that all figured out.

I can't imagine Alabama didn't change up and/or try to disguise things. If Michigan figured out something during the game, well, in that case I don't think they did anything different than everybody else.

I think that you still have knowledge of patterns though.
That is something I implied from this post. I think that if you study signs along with regular film of teams you expect to play, you have a more accurate understanding of the patterns of the other team’s system. And that’s not even including the possibility that there may have been other fake scouts at other places besides that one clown.
I think Michigan should’ve been left out because of violations.
This is a professional sport now. They let these things go.
And yes, using a sign stealing system is illegal, because other teams do not do it. That is why. People think teams can learn sign systems anyways all the time.
But the way Michigan did it warrants probation. And also because their coach has 2 investigations upon him.

Every team in every sport, knows the signals of their opponents and that is why signs change.

There’s nothing from that article discussing how Michigan did not do it.
Besides, Alabama tried multiple times to push the ball down the field to Bond and Burton. They’re 2 most impactful receivers. And neither did really anything except for some average yardage.
Yeah you can say that Michigan’s defense has been great all year, but I attribute some sign stealing knowledge to JJ McCarthy’s weird breakout as a QB and the defense being so good.

Or Go Huskies!
Would be nice to see Michigan win if for no other reason than to give the sads to some TNetters.
Would be great to see Huskies win as the PAC rides off into the sunset.
Won’t know who I’m pulling for until the game is underway
