“A win is a win”… I hope I am totally reading into your comment the wrong way. But it is hard not to feel like you are posting this in an attempt to say “take that you libs” or something to that effect.

I am not the most articulate person in the world. I have never been the person to phrase a situation perfectly. But the joy people take in limiting the opportunities of people that for lack of a better way of saying, were just born different than the majority of us, just seems so sad. Its just not cool, and is unnecessary.

I can support a decision like this, because the military is a mission critical function that puts our service members in dangerous situations. By eliminating one more variable that has to be considered when devising a plan for readiness, service, etc. I can appreciate that you design for the majority, and unfortunately you can not accommodate everyone. We don’t design Fighter Jets for tall people. Its just not practical.

That said, I don’t sit there an take any additional Joy or Happiness in this limitation. I feel sorry for that person. I don’t try to emphasis this court ruling as a way to make another person fill less than. I can only hope folks that struggle with this difference can find another outlet that they can participate in that can help satisfy their desire to serve.

Just going to close by saying that the “Trans” community is a part of this country. This community of people by in large were born the way they are. It is already an immense challenge for them to overcome the obstacles that are the natural outcome of being different. There are going to be instances where for good reason, and sometimes not so good of reasons they will be excluded from participation. But is it to much to ask that we refrain from being mean spirited. We can control that. That does not cost a thing, or put anyone in danger. Dang it.. WWJD!
