Well ole Kirby brought in two top receivers out the portal. Wish these recruits would pay attention that they are taking portal
Players over recruits. I figured they would lose a qb and one or two rbs but neither of those have yet

UGA and the other top programs are playing an interesting game that you can get away with if you already have a pretty loaded team and recruit well. It comes down to the strongest of the fittest. What I mean by that is if Kirby finds 2 top receivers in the portal then he figures some of the guys on his team who are good receivers but will probably never see the field decide to move on. He doesn't worry about being over on scholarships because he figures the numbers will work themselves out as people decide to leave.

With this mindset, you recruit the best talent out of HS and grab the best talent out of the portal when it is available. If the players aren't going to be loyal and move on at a whim then why should the teams be loyal to them?

Like it or not, this is the new world of recruiting that we find ourselves in.

They have to replace Hyatt and Tillman, so he'd likely get more snaps there, with Milton then Iamaleva to throw to him.
