Well, if they’re at 40,000’, perhaps cannon fire may be called for - as effective and certainly cheaper than missiles.

Our Government isn't very trustworthy right now and is apt to false information. Every crisis is an opportunity to seize control and freedoms from the public in the name of safety and trust. MSM is happy to tow the government narrative without question.
Just stay open minded and skeptical.
