Complaining is rightfully so at this point. Dabo didn't play the best players in the games we lost and fans have every right to question his decision.
Cade didn't become a super QB in one week. Ok weight have lost to ND but we never lose to the coots if Cade played half of his abilities in the State Championship. Took til ACCCG to play a QB that sat on sidelines all year, because DK couldn't get a lead in the game.

Yes, because running a high D1 football program is literally only writing up your best plays and putting your best 11 on the field at a time. If it was that simple every team would be 6-6 every year and you could be a coach.

Cade is clearly better than DJ and some of us saw that weeks (if not longer ago).
You can try to nuance this all you like... but the film does. not. lie.
We won tonight because they put in Cade.
We likely would have won last week if we played Cade.
We would almost assuredly gone to the playoff if we played Cade earlier.
You can hate that.
You can hate that others saw it.
You can hate that the coaching staff didn't and come up with myriad reasons why.
But it's the truth.

I want accountability not blood. The best player should be starting. Period . If you’re OK losing the coot game and missing the playoffs because somebody’s pride and feelings might be hurt if they got benched that’s a problem

There would have been literally no going back and the new guy could have ended up as shell shocked as DJ. They’d found a way to mostly win with DJ. Even if Cade had shown DW or TL flashes it would have been high risk to make that move. Chase Brice was light years better than anything that would have been left in our qb room. If DJ and Cade struggled we would have been dead in the water. This isn’t rocket science.

Or Cade could have fallen apart like DJ did last year. DJ could have left. Dabo could’ve lost the locker room and we end up struggling for bowl eligibility. Both are equally valid scenarios since neither are based on anything but pure speculation.

It’s my biggest concern and why I’m lashing out a little. As an Alabama guy he knows how vicious this business is. But I think he thought he truly built something special here. And now the worst amongst us are making it very well known that nothing he’s done is genuinely appreciated. So when the call comes he will consider it when he probably wouldn’t have a few years ago. And this fanbase will absolutely deserve it for not shouting this sh*t down. Being classless pieces of crap like Ohio State and Bama fans should not have to come with the territory.

You're right, and I'm part of that group complaining bc I honestly feel that if our coaching would have been getting Cade ready as if they may need him at any time during the season like having a #1 and a close to a #1 as our backup, we would be in the playoffs when the committee meets again. Our chances in the playoffs probably would have been as good as any bodies except for UGA, and I believe that UGA has the best team in the country, and for any team to beat them, they will have to cause them to have a few costly turnovers, and if not UGA will repeat as NCS 2022!!!
