Oh wait, yes they do. Signed, Bama blocking a game winning kick by UT(7-6) in 2009. Does anybody remember if Bama dropped in the polls after that?

There was another "Tiger" team in 2010 with an All-World QB

that took a mediocre team into OT at home and lost thanks to a missed FG who ended up winning a MNC.

Bama won that game 12-10 I believe, and they won @ Aub

by a score. Other than that, all their other wins were by double digits. Every champion has one or two games where they dont play well but find a way to win.
Right now, even when we win, we're sloppy and turn the ball over too much. There isnt much comparison between us and '09 Bama.
Again, eliminate turnovers and there isnt a team out there that can beat us.

And I suppose Alabama is not a champion because

they lost at home to Ole Miss last year. Get over it!!! Certainly, we all would have like for the Tigers to play a cleaner game, but turnovers kill you. Did I mention the Alabama Ole Miss game last year? Championship teams find a way...any way to win. To go undefeated, you must have some good fortune. We were the recipient of some good fortune and took advantage of it.
Now, if you want to put a tick mark in the loss column of the record book you keep, go ahead...have at it, but you will have to do a lot of rewriting of record books if you base things on shoulda coulda. The fact remains, Clemson won the ball game when the did not play well, and NC State arguably played at its highest level. Winning these types of games shows the heart of a champion.
Be real, you are living in the finest era in the history of Clemson Football. Enjoy the ride, for no one knows where or when the journey ends. If you let the fact the Tigers did not play well bother you....while they still won, I would hate to see what happens when the Tigers lose a game. As a point of reference, look at Oklahoma and Michigan State, two of last years four Playoff teams. Did you think they would kill to be in the position Clemson is right now?
