I'm still shocked he wasn't fired with Austin.

There was just no way Dabo was going to fire the coach Wesco and Moore committed to.

Do you really think those 2 players care about Grisham? They want a chance to play and receive the best development possible. This is not a problem like numerous people state.

If you don’t think players care who their coaches are you need to take a look a portal attrition at school where coaches leave or are fired.

Some might say that Jeff Scott was the best WR coach Clemson ever had.

They would be wrong due to loss of memory. Jeff played for and was trained by Dabo. Fortunately for Jeff he had a coach who could evaluate and recruit potential top draft picks in the WR class.

Jeff played at Clemson from 00-02, a year before Dabo got to Tiger Town.***

Rick Stockstill was Jeff's position coach. Dabo was selling real estate at that time.

Problem with that thought is our downfall at WR

began with Scott recruits like Ladson, Ngata, Spector, and a few others. Last year was the first year since Ladson and Ngata we recruited guys thought of as 5 stars in Wesco and Moore. Let's see how they play the rest of the year, then make a decision on Grisham. If they are the playmakers all hope they are, we should see that over the next several weeks. I just don't see Dabo trotting Randall and Turner out there ahead of them if they play like last week. I look for both to play 15-25 snaps this week, then with the bye week, be a part of a group including Williams, Brown and Stellato getting most of the snaps

We have one that lives two doors down from Dabo, but he builds houses now.

When you get hired as a new football coach, right after the customary Koolaid ceremony and Perry Noble immersion in Dabo’s pool, the next step is the closing on your new home in Clarendon Hall, because it’s perfectly normal for people to want to be around their boss all day and then live a couple doors down from them in their off time.

“Good and experienced” coaches can develop players. We need the Luke” type of coaches at our skill positions. We’ve been lacking on development because of the OJT hires; former players, friends and family.
