I clearly remember the Jag fans and other around the NFL making statements that Travis was a wasted 1st round pick for the Jags, and they were using Travis's season ending injury at the start of his NFL career as solid proof that he was a wasted 1st round pick. But,
since he has come back from that injury, Trevor and Travis has been lighting it up in the NFL and getting better together every week. Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne has proven to the nay sayers how totally wrong they were with labeling Travis as a wasted 1st round pick into the NFL.
Trevor and Travis has brought the same chemistry they had at the college level to the NFL, and they're probably the best 1st round QB, RB picks from the school to ever play on the same team together at the level they're playing at in the NFL....

Probably? No doubt in my mind (memory) of QB1/RB1 same school/draft playing at their level.
Got to give the ‘party animal’ Urban Meyer credit for selecting both bc it wasn’t popular at the time.

Every time I watch Trevor and Travis lead the Jags offense I think, oh man, what a different Tiger era that was.
As for Garrett Riley’s explanation for why our offense does not resemble his CFP championship game offense last year, he said it: It all comes down to personnel. And he was too careful—and classy—to go beyond that . . .
