A few days ago when Clemgalalways® posted about our own, Alice Hewson, Qualifying for the upcoming US Women’s Open being played @ Pebble Beach in early July, she asked us to pull for Amy Olson while we’re at it.

I had no idea who Amy was and asked C-gal to tell me something I should know about her . . . C-gal never replied . . . so I looked her up . . . if you’re curious and have 7 minutes to spare, this video will give you a peak inside:

The 2023 Women’s US Open is the first Women’s Major Pebble Beach has ever Hosted . . . Amy will be playing in it . . . She will be 7 months pregnant when she “Tees It Up” . . .

Heck yeah, I’ll add her to “My Favorites” and pull for her success just as hard as I’ll be rooting for Alice!!!

She has a great golf swing. I’m surprised she hasn’t won on tour yet. Perhaps her putting holds her back

I know I didn't skeeta56. Just been a busy time in life. My sis has been back and forth with hospital, docs etc. Our friend in Lexington had his wife back in the hospital. My apologies.

Amy is known on tour as the minister. She always holds Bible study during events. Much like the Pancakes (and Annabelle) do when they're off at tournaments. Coach Hester and Coach Popson are steeped in faith. The culture they instill is cut from the cloth of Dabo.

So, Amy and the Olson's have become good friends with the Pancakes. Here's more about Amy.

wasn’t complaining . . . just curious, as you rarely, if ever, ask for our support for non-Tigers.


Btw - I tried to call kerigantoo the other day when I knew he had Sal in the hospital . . . but he didn’t or couldn’t answer . . . I’ll reach out to him again.
