These Statistics are Fictional!!! There are usually 20-25 Deaths per weekend in the Southside of Chicago. Multiply that times 52 weeks and you are over 1000 Murders!

Then you are in bad shape. Recommend you don’t vote. Don’t care to have dinner with either of them but policies are vastly different and one of them has obviously not worked. You sound like someone that tunes into the View. Believe they would kill the man if they could. TDS is real and post like this is evidence. Biden is not currently running the show and has been too busy in the last 30 years building his family’s empire with his political influence. You don’t build what he has on a political salary.
No need to blame either but one party has become soft on crime and the party that rules Chicago and the current mess in Cali are Dems. Maybe you can put 2 and 2 together as it’s really not that complicated.

This country is far safer than the news monsters on tv would like you to believe. They tell you it is not, so they can make you feel safe an informed and wanting to come back, and boost their ratings.

Read somewhere that major cities are no longer required to report their crimes. New York, Chicago. Not sure if true or not but that would definitely affect accuracy.

You are correct. They changed the reporting system a couple years ago as well as changing certain classification of violent crime. Research has also shown retailers/victims are more reluctant than ever to even call police due to the fact they feel police won't get there in time plus if they do get there won't do anything. All this is well documented and found with the simplest of searches. Since the overdose death of Sir Saint Floydd crime has skyrocketed to coincide with the attack of police to go along with certain blue states that have actually made it harder for police to do their job. Broken windows policing works and it worked for a reason bc the guy that jumped the subway turnstile didn't jump it bc he's trying to save a quarter.

########. Took about 5 seconds to Google about how reporting has changed and the minimum impact over last couple years. Murders are down but car thief and shoplifting are up.

Its also a year over year so if its down 5% from all time records then that isnt great. But as mentioned the reporting changed but that isn't the only thing. More murderers are not being convicted because they are paroled due to detentions being full, because illegals skip town and dont get convicted. These numbers are a farce.
I also just read article that said SC is now the 6th most dangerous state in US for violent crimes. Well that is pure BS, only reason the stats sway that way is because SC is still convicting criminals vs setting them free or paroling them. Red state justice still intact.
