Kelly Bryant

After poor performances against NC State and FSU, Kelly has really looked good the last 3 games. I'm not seeing those high balls on short routes, he is throwing very accurately. His Confidence is at all time high, and he has shown he can handle the big stage. If he can get dialed in on the longer throws over the net few weeks of practice we will be unstoppable.

I am a one who doesn't think Kelly is a good QB. 6th At being said. His game against Miami was IMPRESSIVE!! His footwork, his reads, his intangibles were off the charts. He improved so much this yr it really is impressive. If you pay attention to QB play usually if they don't have it by their 3rd college yr they won't get it. He did great!

in the last few games our Tigers have played VERY smart football. Penalties almost seem to never occur anymore.
You’ll have to admit that every time the Tigers are asked to defend a long pass you look for the flag. I know I did but I can’t remember the last pI call that we had. Theres some good coaching going on at Climpson and I know those of you who really love and support the team know this. And it ain’t over yet!

The coach's assessment of KB was much more accurate than that of the Tigernet group. We got lucky there!

Actually up until the last 3 weeks t net was spot on. I don't know what happened. But a light turned on for him or things slowed down. Watch his play early and mid season and his play now with no bias and you will see it looks like 2 different players.

Twelve wins and ranked number one in America. I’d say KB has done the job assigned to him!

And the proof is in the pudding. He has done what needed to be done. I was referring to his play at the position not the results. But to each his own. But if you think he is a good QB should he ever switch positions you will see what we are saying. Until the last 3 weeks he has been at best average at QB. He would be top 1 to 2 in the country at WR or TE (wr would be my preference but TE is a position that needs to know as much about the offense as the QB and center) not just good but great! Now that being said. His last 3 games have been a different story. With each game performance better than the previous. Should he stay on that trend then he is going to be one we talk about for yrs.

Any talk of him being displaced HJ or ZC should be done by now. KB has shown to have the coolest head of any QB we've had (sans DW4). Cool headed QBs win championships.

I agree that he would make a top 5 WR. I also think he was marginal as QB for about 2/3 of the year, but he seems to have flipped a switch. One thing is that he has stopped throwing to Cain on the fly routes (for the most part) and is concentrating on the <15 yard throws. Deon is not the jump ball type of receiver that Mike Williams was. I think the OCs have gotten smart and stopped trying to hit the home runs.
Kelly had a really nice game against Miami, but on several occasions it appeared that his mobility was more limited than before the ankle injury. He has a lot of trouble getting away from trouble in the pocket. Although the coaching staff publicly says he's "nearly 100%" I really think he's considerably less than that. I hope that the next 4 weeks will help get his mobility back.

take him out like they did DW4, Gallman, and Williams in the first half. Hope he's careful. We can't beat them without him.
