Am I The Only One Looking Forward to Playing FSU?

If we're undefeated going into that game, and completely healthy, we'll find out a lot about our program from that one game. If FSU is who everyone says they are, and we beat them, we will officially be in the upper echelon of college football. Even if we lose a tight game, it still shows we're on the right path.
I think the FSU game will tell us a lot about where we really stand.

I always look forward to FSU. Great challenge for us against a pretty good program traditionally. Oh and because Jimbo is an idiot

such a good QB in the eyes of the world. Everyone believed FSU's loss was because Manuel didn't play. Like their QB could stop Tajh and Clemson's WRs.

National perspective will quickly change when we beat FSU.

...Suddenly it'll be "same ol' FSU" and Clemson winning games they shouldn't. I think the true test comes when we play Maryland, NC State, and BC.

as it gets in cfb. It is a big-time matchup. I hope you have tickets like me.
This will be like an old-time Clemson-UGA game.

Since maybe the 1992 Clemson-FSU game in terms of national perspective IF we both go into it undefeated. We're ready to prove that last year was no fluke, and that we ARE the class of the ACC now. FSU will be wanting to show that they are back on top.

I can think of 100 or so guys looking forward to FSU

and they are the ones who will actually play the game!
I see no reason to fear the Seminoles more than the other 11 teams on our schedule. We have within our current program what it takes to win (or lose!) every game.

You are saying that Ball State, Furman, and Duke should be seen within the same ballpark of FSU? I don't think so.
The FSU game is gonna decide how we are seen within the BCS as well as nationally. Other games to worry about are NC state, GT, VT, and SC for the fact they have beat us 3 in a row.
Just my opinion.

we have what it takes to win EACH game or lose EACH game.
A win over FSU would be huge. A loss to Ball State, Furman or Duke would be just as big but in a bad way.
Both can happen.

time game the payoff is bigger.
Beat FSU and Clemson gains respect just like beating UGA in the 80's. Even if we lose to NC State or something the victory over a national opponent is bigger nationwide than the local fan's meltdown in losing to the Wolfpack let's say. In fact this happened in 1987. Great win over ranked UGA team but loss to NC State (and USuC). But went on to the Citrus and beat down Penn State. Clemson's national reputation solid.

I just want us to finally have a season where we come out to play the weaker teams on our schedule like we THINK they are FSU. The Tiger mascot would need IV fluids after all those pushups.

Clemson is longer scared of FSU. I expect us to beat them. Stephone Anthony will be breathing down Manuals neck line.
