Okay....lets say that he does. So who is better than Riley that is out there that we can get to take the spot. Notice I didn't say next best.... because I would want someone better than Riley. There is no need to go backwards and take less than at this point in the program's status and progress.

We wii not lose Riley for maybe another couple of years
If a big school comes for him to be the head coach then
so be it but it's not time.

Defenses are slowly but surely catching up to the RPO spread offense. You have to do something defenses do not do "themselves" or that they "do not see every week"!

Stutzmann runs what he calls "The Spread and Shred" offense. Which has elements of the Run and Shoot, West Coast offense and some Air Raid stuff rolled into one. With some power inside zone run game.

Stay ahead of what "everybody is doing" and it stresses the defense. Why Army, Navy and Air Force usually are 1, 2 and 3 in rushing even though opponents know what they will run is because: you don't see that offense weekly. It's hard to simulate in practice; no matter how talented of player you have.
