The best way I can explain is this. He is a solid Clemson commit. And it wouldn't matter if he was a ONE star, everybody believes he is the best HS QB in the country as of now, and he is Clemson's solid commit.

Watson is considered the #1 QB not just the # 1 dual threat QB. Watson was a 5 star before the summer by ESPN in their initial ESPN 150. During the summer ESPN was at a lot of camps watching and getting new grades for each recruit. The main one was the Elite 11 camp for Watson where he did good but not great. So when they released the new revised ESPN 150 and 300 he dropped from being rated in the 90's to an 88 which changes his magical star rating to a 4 instead of a 5. I look to see him reemerge during the season as a 5 star recruit. He is still the same Deshaun Watson no mater what his star rating is!

Even more importantly, he fits our offense, and so does (did) Kelly prior to his injury, although that seems to be healing nicely. Stoudt seems to be more of a pocket passer and a threat with his arm, IMO, but he did look very good on Sat.
