Who gonna pay him to play? Our defensive recruiting has missed it and Hoffler is part of that. Dabo takes care of his players but his players do not take care of him. Dabo gonna have to see that most of these guys going out themselves first. It’s the latest generation.

We didn't miss it in Hoefler. He wasn't supposed to be all world right away, or ever. He was coming around and on schedule.

That is a huge bummer. Eason used to rip him apart. Called him soft. On the other hand, maybe there is some money out there and a better opportunity. He wasn't going to be starting next year for us it didn't seem.

He shouldn’t have an issue finding a place to go. Seemed many opposing coaches loved using him

Hoffler has a good upside. He would have been quality depth next year and probably pushed for a starting job 2026. We lost 2 good DL commits before the early signing day. The depth is going to be an issue. We need bodies, preferably really good ones. The depth at DE was already shallow and the DT depth is drying up too.

We cannot go to a 3-4 base because of the lack of depth at LB.
