Not going to lie. I loved Air Noland coming out of high school. I really wanted him to sign with us.

They could go on a roll here with Beamer. What an upgrade from Muschamp.

Don’t get it, he said he was going to a place he could start. IMHO sellers is a lock to start next 2 years.

Honestly, I could see Air Noland overtaking Sellers if he struggles.

I know it's hard to imagine right now because he ran all over us but hear me out...if teams were to key in on bottling him up and forcing him to pass...how much of a threat would he be next year?

I'm not saying it will happen but sophomore slumps are a thing and teams are going to have tape on him. Sellers was money when plays broke down and he turned into Houdini but if teams were able to start figuring out the blueprint to stop him effectively from running loose and he doesn't develop more as a passer...Air Noland could very well take the job.

Of course, no one has a clue what's gonna happen but I'm similar to you in that I'm a little confused of all the places to choose to go to and sit for a year it's South Carolina. Not Oregon, UGA, or some other powerhouse where talent is an issue to bring in but....South Carolina who's team just lost a BUNCH experience and kind of head into next year with similar questions of like how good will the team be next year with their schedule?

It actually seems like a smart move for Beamer and decent spot for Noland. There’s no clear #2 QB now that their backup went to the portal. And given how much that offense is predicated on Sellers running the ball, chances of injury are greater than most typical QBs. Sellers missed half a game this past year so it’s definitely a risk management opportunity for both parties.
