understand/know better and the rest of the world, but it's improving so rapidly that I imagine most of us won't be able to distinguish real/AI in a year or two. If there's no definitive way to identify AI, whether for users or platforms (or both), it SHOULD be the end of social media. But that probably won't happen, it'll just get more and more politically pilled in both directions.
But for platforms like Pinterest, for example, from Oliver's show--if they don't get a handle on it, they're going to die pretty quickly. They're different than ####/X/Insta/etc.

But, I'm leaning in the direction that we almost need a giant shove in that direction to get people to finally accept that if they can't truth/fiction online, it's not worth being online. It's a high risk proposition (see Mountainhead), but...idk what else is gonna do it.

On a more serious note, the people in the industry are claiming that things are racing so fast that in 3 to 5 years there is going to be massive chaos and the workforce is going to change so drastically that there is a crisis brewing on multiple fronts. That's from Ian Bremmer and his interviews with the leaders of the industry. Supposedly the country doesn't realize what is going to hit us. Its going to be ugly for a bit in the transition.
