They are gonna get OG Jamaree Salyer next week too.
Really hope Cade Mays doesnt join them as well, that would be a killer Oline haul honestly.
Hope Mays picks the good guys next week.

They did sign two 5 star OTs last year which probably helps us with a path to more and earlier playing time, especially if Hyatt leaves.

Hyatt hasn't gotten a ton of praise by NFL folks. He's been great at times this year but he's also gotten bullied by guys this season. If he comes back he will be a 1st rounder in the 2019 draft because he most likely won't be one if he leaves early for the 2018 draft.

I didn't come up with anything. I just read about the draft and I'm reiterating what people say. Read any report on the 2018 NFL Draft, literally any one of them. All-Conference, All-America, and weekly awards mean nothing to NFL talent evaluators. The reviews on Hyatt are all over the board. I've seen him with late 1st round projections as late as 2 weeks ago, all the way down to the Walter Football "3rd-5th" projection and CBS Sports not even having him ranked in their top players.
CBS lists 10 draft-elligible offensive tackles for the 2018 NFL Draft and Hyatt is nowhere in that top 10.
Walter Football has him listed as the #14 offensive tackle and projects him as a 3-5 round pick "Hyatt has been disappointing in 2017, getting pushed around regularly. Even undersized defensive ends have had success winning with power against Hyatt. He clearly needs to get stronger for the NFL. Hyatt also has had problems with speed rushers, including the edge rushers from Miami in the ACC Championship.
Some team sources say they have graded Hyatt as a fourth-rounder for the 2018 NFL Draft. If he continues to struggle, they will drop the grade to Round 5. That being said, they noted the huge demand for tackles could cause a team to reach on Hyatt higher than where he belongs. Returning for his senior year to get stronger could end up helping his draft grade." --> Written 2 days ago.
Matt Miller from Bleacher Report has him as the #6 offensive tackle in the draft which would most likely knock him out of round 1.

I have followed the Walter Football webside for years for the mock drafts, as they post more than any other site. They are terrible on player evaluation. I don't put much stock in their "evaluations". They also seem to have an ax to grind with Clemson, specifically, as they frequently rate our players low. I suspect they have some other school allegiance that is no friend of Clemson.

I don't think he is PERSONALLY downgrading Hyatt, he is just telling you what he has seen by some draft evaluators. I have seen some of that as well, but most player evaluators are bad at what they do. The NFL teams know that no player is perfect. Tankersley was downgraded by several scouts last year based on picking out a couple of bad plays through an entire season a publicizing those plays everywhere. He went at the end of round 3. He was starting as a rookie in the NFL by game 4. In a redraft there is no way he lasts past round 2.
I think Hyatt will be drafted by the middle of round 2 at the latest, but the combine numbers will matter and can effect the draft position.

Well that's a leap of faith . Your 2 yr old staff looked amateurish last year in not winning a soft division , and yes this year finally got some offensive movement and won an even softer division . Not saying that you're not trending up because obviously making it into the CFB playoff is a huge help , but lets see what you do now that it's actual big boy football from here forward . That staff will now prove it's meddle , or not .

With one and half recruiting classes in a rebuilding year I might add! Everyone now realizes UGA has hit a HR with Kirby!!!

UGA has been loaded for years, they just seem to succeed when the SECleast was at an all time low with Richt's Juniors and Seniors with Pruitt trained Defensive players. After watching all 4 playoff coaches speak the other day, Smart was the one that nobody is worried about.

Kirby's had less than two years to implement his program. He's signed 1 and 1/2 recruiting classes. He's won the SEC. He's got "HIS" team in the playoffs. Richt may have recruited this senior class but he's had zilch to do with making UGA relevant again outside of that. Y'all keep telling yourselves that what's happening at Ga is the exception and not the rule. The Kang is killing it on and off the field. This is a rebuilding year for Kirby.....looks like he's ahead of schedule...LOL!

No, this is still heavily Richt's players. As you mentioned, Kirby has had only one full recruiting class.
He is certainly doing well as Georgia's talent pool is reaching levels it never has before, however, development of players is not yet a known commodity for Kirby.

Come on man, aren't there like 30 seniors on your roster?
This has been an impressive year for Kirby, and UGA looks to be a top 5-10 mainstay for years to come. But don't even try to play the "rebuilding year" crap

Good grief you are skeered! And you should be! Seems that "less with more BS" flew out the window with CKS's hire. In case you haven't noticed (or refuse too) UGA won the SEC and are playoff bound. Like or not Kirby is killing it! Can't wait for the meltdown when Mays commits to the Dawgs. The Mays know who puts OL men in the league and it isn't Robbie Caldwell. Clemson's had but (2) OL drafted in the last decade.

You may want to check NFL teams with active Clemson Olineman (5), mutt, and if Hyatt leaves early Cadwell will have coached 2 lineman drafted in 2018 (Hyatt and Crowder).

There is nothing about UGA to fear. Kirby's another 'talking head' coach trying to sound like something he isn't. The program still can't keep the police blotter clear...but that's ok...kids will be kids, right?
Two years from now, this UGA is great discussion will have come to a thudding end...and Dawg fans all across the southeast will be licking their wounds and 'parts', yet again.

Hairston, Battle, Shatley, Thomas, and McClain have all been part of an NFL Roster in 2017, mutt. Freeman was a free agent that I don't believe got picked up at all this year.
Go get me the official visists on the 2018 class; from the players profiles on ESPN's site. You can't, because they are too lazy to keep up with everything.
And again, Crowder will get drafted, could have last year, just as Hyatt is a lock when he decides to go. There will be plenty of others to follow. Hyatt being the only 5* OL we have signed. I think maybe JK Jay was, too, but he had a career ending injury before he played a snap.

Why on Earth would we be "skeered?" Sure, UGA is on the rise, and will be a huge competitor for recruits over the next decade.
But newsflash, WE HAVE ALREADY MADE IT! We are the defending national champs! Been to 3 straight playoffs! We certainly aren't scared.
Clemson will have big wins, and UGA will too. You will get your recruits, and we will get ours. UGA will win a national title at some point soon too. But stop acting like we haven't seen anything like this before.
We have been there, you have not. Welcome to the party, 'bout time yall showed up
