Dandy Dozen: Tigers maul Bulldogs in series opener
Clemson made sure their bats made the trek to Charleston. Andrew Cox hit a three-run homer and Weston Wilson continued his torrid week by driving in four runs as No. 19 Clemson defeated The Citadel 12-1 in the first game of a two-game series in front of 5,524 fans at Joseph P. Riley Park in Charleston Tuesday evening. (Photo by Murphy Andrews) Full Story » |

End of April and May is going to be tough. We play GT, Louisville, FSU and NCST pretty much all in a row. Got UGA mixed in this stretch also

That is absolutely mind blowing: 5500 somp'n fans

Do you realize how many dozen AA organizations would kill for that attendance every night, in a market with 20x+ in the 10-mile radius metropolis?
Yet, Clemson does that in the upstate drawing from 1.5 hrs. drive away. Now, do same in Charleston.

Well, the Charleston area is bigger than you think. (I'm from there) I live in Atlanta, but my family is still there. I would say there are more chicken fans than Tigers in the Lowcountry, so any time ANY Clemson team or anything else for that matter, rolls into town, they show up. It's like a treat since not everyone can make the ~4hr drive up to see them on campus. I try to catch them in Atlanta at Tech.

I love this young team, I think our future is looking bright in baseball

Our youth learning to win and having fun will keep repeating itself for a lifetime.
Beer is the best rookie ever so far. He's imprint on future recruiting will help Monte become even better at bringing in great baseball players.
We are going to the World Series! Go Tigers!
