For the love of the game indeed. Let's hope that after this season a bidding war doesn't accomplish what a raucous minority wanted prior to the season start. To those who know who you are, be careful what you wish for.

The only worrisome part of the article is the last sentence... his career goal is to be a head coach. Hope we can just get a few good years out of him before he goes on his way.

Let's hope he waits a few years (like, through Tajh's and Chad's time here at least) before he makes the jump. Maybe, he can see what happened to Rich Rod and realize he needs to be patient before he makes the jump.

Rich Rod was fine until he decided to bolt to a school with an impatient, unrealistic fanbase, and install an offense that he did not have the personnel for. I think he could've stayed at WVU forever if he wanted. That offense is great for beating up patsies, but just doesn't work against the big boys. Denard Robinson is fun to watch, but he ain't that great of a passer, and you have to be in order to beat good teams.

And the guy had never even coached basketball before? That tells you he is a student of the game, regardless of what game it is. Clearly his hard work is paying dividends.

...be able to capitalize on Morris' influence, coaching, and philosophy while he is here??
That is the big question.
If he keeps the pace, it seems impossible that Morris would be here for more than another year, but wow, what a ride!

I read the article. I wasn't responding to the article. I was responding to the poster suggesting Chad Morris wouldn't be at Clemson more than another year.
