who do you put in... Personally, I hope SMU gets in. SCU will have as good of an argument as anyone since they just beat us.

If Oregon beats PSU... will they drop PSU below ND for losing an extra game to the #1 team? I don't think they will.

I fully disagree. I would much rather play ND.
They’ve looked good but look at who they’ve played. USC put 35 on them and ND had 2 99 yard pick sixes.
ND as usual is overrated… Penn Sts defense however… is not.
I don’t think we’d beat either of them but would much rather take my chances against ND with Riley Leonard who we know and have seen and played against rather than challenge Penn Sts defense.

The other side of that is what I actually think will happen.
I think Penn St beats Oregon. In this scenario I believe Penn St becomes the #1 overall seed being B10 champs and with a win over an undefeated #1.
That drops Oregon into the 5 spot which is where we’ll be going if we win and Boise State doesn’t lose to UNLV.

Penn St has the best defense in the country… their pass rush alone would stymie our offensive attack.
Notre Dame isn’t as good as Penn St up front on defense and Penn St has the more talented QB.
I’ll take my chances with ND.

If that game happens, I will happily give you the spread (whatever it is) and take Oregon. While I think Oregon will smoke them by at least 21, I am not going to give you 14 points if the line is 10 for example. That is not smart.
