I met Arturo Jr in the Santiago DR airport back in 2006. He gave me 2 OpusXs out of his briefcase.

That's awesome!
All the Opus X I have ever had were beautifully built high quality cigars, but not worth the money for my tastes. I know a different smoke, but if I want something of the same quality I'm probably going to move towards Davidoff. One thing I love about both of those brands top to bottom is you can walk inside to make a drink and chat, and come back out and pick it up and take a hit and it's like you never stepped away. Well built with good air flow. Obviously, that has a lot to do with how it's stored as well.

Golf course smokes are usually going to be Oliva, Monte, or Rocky. Evening smokes are the Lavida Habanas, 22Min to Midnight (my personal favorite), Padrons. Special smokes are my Epicure No.2s, Caldwell 10yr coffin, and some other special editions I have.
This box of Davidoffs will fit somewhere between evening and special smokes.

one, but yeah keeping it right. Pinehurst golf trip starting tomorrow, breaking out a couple Epicure No.2 for evening smokes and special treats to a few of the guys (who I would trust actually to enjoy a Cuban vs a $10 stick, lol).

I'm o'skool. I'm sticking with my Spanish Cedar. I know, I know, but all the onn"s I've had from the refrigerator at not to my liking. That being said, I might have tried them from the wrong folks (as far as Cigars are concerned. Great folks otherwise).
