ACC Tournament

I hate when the ACC tournament is up north. DC this year isn't as bad as when they've played in Brooklyn, but it still makes no sense to me. The games will be mostly empty until the semifinals or maybe a quarterfinal game will have a good crowd. Clemson playing at 9:30 in front of a slim crowd will feel like a November tournament. Put the ACC tournament in Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, or Greenville. Never move from those sites.

UVa will have a lot of fans in the Quarter round, and Va Tech will have some too...

Let me get this straight. People on this site hate the baseball tournament and the football Championship game being in NC but love the basketball tournament being in Greensboro. Strange.

You may not be aware, being a coot, but long ago the baseball tournament was played in Greenville, SC. The game was moved as the ACC said having the tournament in Greenville gave the Tigers too much of a home field advantage. The rub is the game is now in Durham every year which is the back yard of Duke, UNC and NCSU.
