ACC is set for bleak future

This writer understands that while Clemson and FSU are after a bigger payday, ESPN has their own set of financial troubles and aren't about to consider an increase in the ACC contract. My guess is that they won't increase the payout to the SEC, either - even if Clemson and FSU become SEC members. The question (to me) is whether the SEC will allow the individual team revenues to be diluted by inclusion of Clemson and FSU.

One thing that would solve the inclusion of Clemson and FSU without dilution would be to dump 2 current SEC members and replace them with FSU and Clemson. I wonder how hard it would be to kick USuC and Vandy out of the SEC?

They have a new contract coming in 2024, if the economy tanks it could bite everyone in the tail.

Vandy is good for the SEC in many ways. Plus Nashville is a GREAT away game trip. Think WF but in a MUCH MUCH BETTER city.
