Last nights scores around the ACC
Liberty beat NC State
UNCG beat Wake
FAU beat Miami
Losing to Ole Miss, who has always been a top program (2022 CWSS Champs) was tough but not too bad. CU had 10 hits to Ole Mis 13, but 4 left the yard and they were seeing it well - many of those hits came with 2 strike counts.
If you watched the game, Bianco said he made his lineups out Wednesday and they were going with that regardless who was hot and who wasn't. Bakich probably did the same since he couldn't be there Friday or Saturday. A lot of young arms got some jitters out of the way and will be better later in the season because of that.
Got a 4 game set this weekend and you'll probably see some changes in the lineups each day to get some people a look.
Can't wait for some action in DKS

Is there a point here? If you know anything about baseball, you should know that college teams play 50-60 games and there will never be an undefeated team.

This post was meant to be bigger than just a baseball problem. He or she was speaking to the lack of good teams in the ACC. Be it baseball, basketball and football. To early to speak to baseball but have not been impressed with the product as of late. Good but not great.

No, you missed the point entirely and created some narrative of your own!
The point was that the Ole Miss loss wasn't a bad loss. Look at these teams losing last night. Nobody is going 60-0. Playing away from home is hard, even neutral sites, but espcially road conference games.
There are plenty of really good baseball teams in the ACC. (7 top 20 teams vs 9 for the SEC)
Get prepared to play conference games and try to win every series with some sweeps and you'll be where you want to be in the end.

not an acc fan either but the acc annually wins multiple national championships is several different sports. it is not a sh!t conference overall. by any means.

The ACC has some good teams but no one that has been a serious threat except maybe a Wake as of late.
CWS will expose all your weaknesses. Does or will Clemson have enough arms to win a CWS type tourney if they did make it? Just have not seen that dominance on the mound that I see from schools that have made it to the CWS in years past.

1b makes an excellent point as do you. That's the reason I was soo disappointed that Moehler is out for the season. I really think if our other pitchers can get healthy for league play, we have a serious chance to compete in the cws.
Hopefully one of those young arms will be a knaak like surprise. I believe in this team until proven otherwise. I still have high hopes for Samol, despite the lack of national attention.
