ACC and college football long term

I really do not like the trends . I know a lot of the bowl games are meaningless but this isn’t good and additionally I don’t think college football is headed in the right direction. There isn’t 12 teams who can win the championship in any one given year . This all seems gross to be honest.

College football is a terrible product. It is the new NASCAR. People used to pack huge venues to watch racing, but corporate interests have destroyed that product the same way corporate interests are now destroying college football. You are certainly not alone. As time passes more and more people will cross the aisle to our side. Right now people are hanging on to a dead horse hoping it will jump up and walk again but when the stench gets too strong they will realize the horse is in fact dead.

Nascar is really a good analogy. It was a religion just like college football. Fans actually felt like they were a part of the team... and the team was a part of them. Everyone had their favorite cars and drivers. If they were a Chevy, you were too.

Same thing happening to country music too.

I live just outside Nashville. My dad worked for Tom T Hall for a long time. He told my dad years ago that country music did not exist anymore because it was nothing but pop music. The only real country music anymore was Bluegrass according to him. I have not heard a recent artist that was worth listening to in a long time.
