of KB. Yes, TL didn't look great in that game, but some of the calls, bad snaps, etc. played a factor on his drives. Did KB lead two important scoring drives in 2nd half? Yes, but you can't say for certain that TL wouldn't have been able to do that.
But, for a second, let's assume that's accurate. Say KB did win the A&M game for us. By that same logic then, we "can't" beat GT without TL! Against Tech, KB had 4 drives, and 3 of them amounted a total of 27 yards! Yes he lead a TD drive when we were up 35-7. On the flip side, TL scored on 5 out of 6 drives (all TDs), and the only drive he didn't was when he had the pick, which coaches said was on ETN.
Maybe I'm crazy here, but I think it's quite obvious that the QB that can actually move the ball more consistently against a weaker team is probably your best shot at beating better teams!

I give Kelly credit for the A&M game. He played well. But folks want to forget that we scored ZERO points in Q4 under Kelly in that game, allowing A&M to climb back in it. Based on performance in all 4 games so far, it’s reasonable to assume that if Trevor had 2-3 drives in Q4, we would have scored at least once. He already had 1 TD pass against A&M that night.

But instead kb muffs it.

panicked off one bad series with TL and completely abandoned their supposed "rotation." I think TL would have come back in later in the 3rd or early 4th and put it away.
