cut out for him trying to instill this "team baseball" concept. Too many guys today still trying to ventilate the stadium with home run swings and striking out, instead of putting balls in play and advancing runners.

Jackson Lindley did turn in an outstanding long relief job though, best I have seen him look thus far!

Agree, still not a good hitting team. Got to learn to hit or the season will be dismal.

It was good to see Ingle have a great game. He was our best hitter last year. His average is well below last year, but he hasn’t caught a break. He has hit the ball well, but right at people. Today might be the Day he needed to turn the corner.

Still alot of work to do. They are barely hitting against these lower midweek teams. Its going to be a long year. A lot of the Freshman look promising....especially Cam and Tristan Smith. We just need some really good recruits these next 2 cycles to go with them. We use to have 5 or 6 guys that could hit and bat .300+ Now we have barely have 1 or 2.
