Just watched Dabo's press conference: very disappointed

I lost a little faith in him. I've given the benefit of doubt even after losing 5 to SC. He was asked about Cole in the presses and he said the loss was not on Cole. What? How can he say that? We were about to go up 10-0 with Watson in and Cole comes in and throws his first of 3 interceptions, and this one for a pick 6. I'm not asking him to throw him under the bus, but don't lie to the fans and say that it wasn't what the fans exactly saw. That is an absolute pathetic comment. He also said that GT created turnovers. No they didn't. Cole handed them to them. Wow!

but his refusal to call a spade a spade is growing old.
Cole flat out gave the game away with the two pick six INT's, and Dabo and Morris' refusal to pull him and try Nick earlier in the game when it wasn't COMPLETELY out of reach was arrogant and stupid.

Don't say he was the reason we lost and shame him, but you don't defend him. He is a senior. No wonder Kelly is not here. If he saw the writing on wall and knew he could run circles around ole deer eyes, the he was probably pisssed to the point that he said something to Dabo. Oh how I would have loved for us to have Kelly today.
And we keep faulting the OL. Same OL played when Watson was shredding them with his legs, although I don't think he should have ran that much. A healthy Watson would have beat them today probably 31-20 if not worse.
I'm also confused why we didn't see Dye. Also, if Cole was pulled after the first half we would have stood a chance. I don't think at the time that they pulled Cole it was a strategy to win. I think it was to save Cole further embarrassment. I will be glad when he graduates. And if Dabo plays him against SC he needs to be handed his walking papers and give BV the head coaching job.

Look we all know this was one of the worst performances ever for a Clemson QB. But lets not forget these are college kids. Dabo cannot shame a 22 year old in front of the camera. We have matured..and learned life lessons...they are not where we as men are yet. If our bosses shamed us in front of our entire workforce..some of yall would need Prozac.

Last week Cole had a terrible int and Adam Humphries muffed the punt before half time. Dabo met Adam on his way to the sideline and was yelling in his face. When Cole threw the int, nothing. Before going in to the locker room Dabo kept emphasizing AH muff to the eapn crew and made no mention to CS int. I dont think AH is our best receiver, but he plays with grit and hustle. I felt he deserved more respect. I didnt like how Dabo chewed him out like that nd thought he was throwing him under.

unfortunately Cole is probably the best healthy QB we have left. IF Kelly had kept his mouth shut and acted like a man instead of a spoiled cry baby, he would have been the starter by now. Instead he punked out and it has hurt both him and CU.

It is on Chad.

He has not prepared our team with a QB beyond Watson coming in game ready.
Chad K was his picking, which makes him 1-2, creating a huge hole in our 1 to 2.
Where is the smashmouth?
Year four.
Dye's injuries have set us back some, but not playing Gallman last year is someones fault.
Chad's success was all those who are scoring TDs on Sundays, players who were here before him.
With other teams doing what they do, coaching guys up, I refuse to believe this is a Caldwell issue, considering he has gotten it done at other places.

Beyond being unprofessional an childish, your opponents would kill you on the recruiting trail because of it. You should appreciate Dabo giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming that you come to the conclusion on your own that Stoudt was in large part, responsible for the loss.

think what upsets them is that not much has changed during the season after noticing it. I don't know that anything can change, it just hasn't. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and getting the same result. It started off with Cole getting the nod to start the season. A few games in, it was obvious that Watson was the better player...by a long shot mind you. We lost two games that, who knows, could have went differently with him starting. This may be our first loss of the season if Watson had been at the helm the whole time.
Now, some will say he was injured, rusty, didn't know the playbook, blah blah...he would have been fine. His physical abilities alone CAN NOT be coached. Also, why is that Morris says we had to LIMIT the offense with Stoudt in? Doesn't sound like he's capable of more than Watson. We've been told over and over that Stoudt was our best option and that seriously has to be called into question as to whether that has been true this whole time.
These past few games, fans have been clamoring for Shuessler, Olsen...anyone just to see if they give a different spark, but we haven't seen it until this late in the season. Now, you can say we won with Stoudt, but it'd be foolish to ignore special teams and defense that has bailed us out on several games...it was NOT offense. There was also some luck on our side as I believe two of those games ended with the opposing team nearly scoring...one was an overthrown ball to a wide open WR. Who would we have held accountable then? I'm sure our QB play would have been brought up.
Sucks for our Tigers...maybe this loss in some weird way will open some eyes and expand our 'starters.'

I am very thankful for the way Dabo handles the team. Clemson would be in a lot better shape QB wise had he not dismissed Kelly. There are not many coaches out there that would have done what Dabo did concerning Kelly. Clemson has a coach with integrity who sticks up for his players in the media. I feel sure it was handled differently in the locker room. Fans don't have to know everything
