I pointed out before the season started this was the overlooked key to their pressing game and why receivers can be great without being 6'4. We need smaller, quicker guys that are more dangerous with the ball in their hands too.

A balanced offense needs both, but I would say in terms of creating mismatches around the field the 6'4" guys have it easier.
The few people who thought maybe Clemson could slow down the passing game last season, and some who commented after the game about what happened, noted that if the defense can cover smaller quick guys then they can cover the entirety of Bama's WR group.
We have seen a similar situation this season when Higgins, Ross, and Overton are our options on the field together. Bigger DBs can match up with them and they can't out-quick people.
The reason that I would rather be in Clemson's shoes than Bama's is because tall guys can make themselves good route runners or can get separation from big DBs with offensive scheming.
If a defense can match the quickness of the shorter guys, they can't all of a sudden get taller and learn to win 50/50 balls.
In all honesty neither group has anything to complain about. They are both elite.

We need more balance in our receivers. It gives us more options and makes it harder for the defense to prepare.
Having a receiver that puts fear in the defense just by touching the ball would take the offense to another level.

That was supposed to be Kendrick, but he got moved to Cornerback. And Rodgers was injured until the 3rd game. He's just now hitting his stride.

I get that he's not throwing the ball down the field, but a big part of this throwing the ball to a place where the receivers have the ability to earn YAC. I have not watched many Bama highlights but I would imagine they see a lot of 2 deep safety sets by opponents to "attempt" to stop big plays down the field.
That being said...I still think Trevor has the edge as a QB over Tua.
