First Offensive play of 2013?

Dawgs win the toss, defer to the second half. Kickoff into the endzone for a touchback, and out come the Tigers on the 25!
What is the formation you think they come out in? What play do they run?
What would you run?
My play is a four wide Pistol formation with Hot Rod in the backfield. Peake and Hump to the left with Peake on the outside, Bryant and Sammy on the right with Sammy on the outside. Play action to Hot Rod with Peake and Sammy running verticals, Hump on a 10 yard curl, and Bryant with a skinny post to the middle. Bryant beats everyone deep and catches a 75 yard touchdown pass on the first play.

We don't pass on first play. Have we EVER done that?
I think Hot Rod runs the ball. I expect Sammy to be in motion to confuse the D, but Hot Rod gets the first call.

and if they don't buy it, then Hump is sitting nicely in the middle of the field for a easy first down. If they are all in man coverage, then Boyd can tuck it and run for 15 yards.

1. Germone Hopper on a Jet sweep! Show teams that Sammy Watkins isnt the only one with elite speed and agility on the team anymore
2. Shotgun Pistol with Zac Brooks back, trips right with (from left to right) Legget, Peake, Hopper. Watkins the lone WR on the other side. You can run in the formation, but i prefer to throw a bubble screen to Hopper, or if a defense is stupid enough to match a DB 1-1 with Sammy run a WR option route and let him do his thing. Most likely though defenses will focus on sammy on that one side leaving Hopper open to use his sammy -like speed with blockers in front of him.

Tajh in the Pistol has Peake on the Outside Left. Hot Rod in the Left Slot. Sammy in the backfield. Bryant on the Outside Right. Seckinger or Leggett at Right Tight End.
Ball is snapped. Tajh fakes to Sammy. Sammy follows Seckinger or Leggett accross the line of scrimmage. Tajh hands it to Hot Rod coming down the right from the Left Slot. As Tajh hands it to Hot Rod, Peake runs a 7 yard out. Bryant runs a deep drag left accross the defensive secondary. Hot Rod runs a right sweep as Seckinger or Leggett runs a left post to occupy linebackers. Hot Rod either continues running a right sweep or throws it to Sammy on a right wheel route for a big gain or score!

I think about 1996. My fiancee was slow in getting ready so we were VERY late leaving. Missed kickoff and first play was a swing pass (I think) that went for a touchdown. I was furious for weeks.

To open the 2010 season Kyle Parker missed Xavier Dye by about 15 yards on a comeback route. It was a sign of things to come.
2nd play Andre Ellington took it to the house! Also a sign of things to come until he got hurt and missed the second half of the season.
