Not sure their kicker can kick it that far. His odds from there might be around 0%.

Let the guy with the strongest leg give it a try. Maybe a punter ??♂️.

Dude’s career high was 47.
You could let him rip a foot-long line of Bolivian marching powder in the training tent before the kick and he probably wouldn’t have reached the goal line.

I think UNC should have run the ball on third down to use some clock. It was obvious OR was saving TOs.

They could have used their best DB that joined the portal. That's what's so frustrating about today, UNC had a soph NFL bound DB next year that could have played and may have helped win for his teammates! This "all about me!" world is so frustrating.
The last 2 Oregon possessions could have been killed by a good DB. I hope he feels like crap and I hope his team blows up his SM. Parents raise kids not to respect authority but they don't even respect friends anymore.
I can't imagine this generation running our country on 30-40yrs. Hopefully we make it that far.

Tony Grimes…

There has to be a story there,
The kid reclassified to get to UNC a full year early.
The kid was injured but didn’t seem to be trying to get back on the field.
The kid portals to Texas A&M.
$$$$ or Gene Chizi or Mack Browne or Tony Grimes who I bet couldn’t care less about this game.

You really think if the transfer portal existed 20+ years ago that players would've refused to use it?

I would try the FG, but I would have had BT Potter on the field. They didn't.

Most college kickers can't even kick it that far, much less kick it that far accurately. You may have been watching too much NFL where a 58 yard attempt would have made much more sense for most teams.

I think Potter would've had a chance to make it from there, and I think us having that level of a kicker has made some of us forget how rare that is in the college game.
