Went back and watched a replay of the Chick-Fil-A bowl and I watched the Nuk reception on 4th and 16 about 10 times. If that play were run 100 times he catches the ball ONCE.
Was this play Clemson's version of the "Immaculate reception"?
Side Note: Ed Cunningham is a complete idiot. He mentioned Clemson was making a mistake in running the clock down before kicking a field goal on 3rd down in case they needed a 2nd try. LOL, when you kick you surrender possesion. This guy is a commentator?????

...we were out of timeouts -- we called our last TO to get the kicking team on the field. We wouldn't have had time to run another play if we'd botched the kick and had the snapper fall on it.

..last interference call with Nuk; something like "yeah, but that was frame by frame...". Did that somehow change the reality of what happened? Nuk's head was clearly being pushed *downward* by the LSU defender before the ball got there....

He was talking about a botch snap but he was too dumb to realize that we didn't have another timeout and the clock would have run out anyways. Just goes to show you that you don't have to know anything about the sport to be a commentator.

but, in that case he was talking about those type of occurences, where you could just take the loss, and try the field goal attempt on 4th down.
