42-20 Clemson over APP state.

APP state is a good team year in and year out. And I expect a fairly close first half in which Clemson talent takes over in the second half to prevail with a comfortable win. I hope this game is about playing Wesco and Moore so that we establish them as play makers because conference play. But overall I expect Cade to pass for 275-300yds and 3 passing touchdowns. Mafah should go over 100yds and add a touchdown or two as well.

but, if the offense can hold on to the ball for decent swaths of time, I don't see why our defense can't keep App to under 20. I'd say more like 34-13.

I'm hoping your right on the offensive side, but I'll be mildly disappointed if we give up 20 to App State. I know their history, especially their recent history of winning games they are supposed to lose, NC and aTm come to mind, but I hope we can shut their offense down and have a dominant defensive game.
I don't really predict scores because I'm usually off by a metric mile, but 42-10 sounds good to me.

I think this is "Statement Saturday". While the opponent isn't a conference foe or a power 4 member, after last week's showing, this is the put up or shut up game.
Gimme the Tigers 49-10.
I expect CK over 275 yds passing, with at least 4 passes of 20+ yards. 3+ TDs and completion percentage of 72+.
Mafah should eclipse the 100 yd mark. 2+ TDs
The defense should absolutely wreck App State and live in the backfield. Gimme 6 sacks and at least 2 takeaways.

I like how you think about the score and stats for CK, Mafah on the other hand I don't think so. If the game is close, which I don't think it will, then yes he might eclipse the century mark but I think he comes out early and the young backs are going to get most of the carries to see who can separate themselves for the 2 and 3 spots.

If we score 42 points on anyone this weekend.... our offense either made the biggest one week turnaround in the history of football... OR UGA is even better on defense than we thought.
I expect more like Clemson 28, AppSt 13
