Just looked and we are 4-13 against ranked teams since the 2020 natty loss against LSU. I used the online schedule and counted quick, but I think that's accurate. So , that what you get for 11 million a year???

So, we average beating a ranked team once a season. That is a far cry from being elite.

We have only lost 11 since then and not all of them were ranked, so your counting sucks.

Umm no I just looked again and I was off by 1. It's 5-12.. So count all the way back to January 2020. That still is so far from elite!!

I had no idea that was our record against ranked opponents over the last 4 years. That is abysmal and seems like a Tommy Bowden stat. We should play at least 2 more ranked teams this year and hopefully we turn that around.

What you're saying don't and won't make any difference until changes have been made that will actually make the team better. But this very same media talk year in and year out will eventually completely destroy our recruiting of 4 star players, and we will return to the 2 and 3 star players we were getting before Dabo, and the Bowden years return as they were during the Bowden years, maybe 3 or 4 4star player almost every recruiting season!!!

It is thinking like that that ruins sports. Based on your idea, there would not be many coaches that survive more than 2-3 years at a school. Take a few minutes and look up the number of different teams that have won National Championships in the last 20 years and you will see how hard it is to win on a consistent basis. Dabo has certainly won on a consistent basis but that does not mean we will win another Championship.

That’s 30 victories over 3 seasons (10, 11, 9).
Yes, we are used to better, but it’s still pretty darn good.
I wonder how many schools have 30+ victories in that span.
