Worst fanbase in America...Never go to a football game there as a visiting fan or any sport for that matter...I only live 60 miles away & you would not believe some of the stuff I have seen and heard through the years.

Hey 740Tiger®. Hope you been doing well. Went to a game in Morgantown in college. Major Harris years. Anyway, the fans were crazy, drunk, and friendly. We lost 49-0. Best time I had at an away game ever.

Thank you sir and I hope you are as well…I am glad you had a great time…Most of the bad stuff I have heard was after they thought they had achieved elite status under RR and the like….Major Harris was like Superman in those days and a lot of fun to watch…..
I need to clarify….I live 60 miles from WV but roughly 100 from the couch burning capital of America.

This is going to happen a lot with the new beer sales rules. I saw some Clemson fans on the McFadden deck flashing middle finger signs to the WVU players and fans. That looked more like Coot behavior than Clemson people. Some of the behavior in the new "Beer lounge" area near the visitors bullpen yesterday was very Coot-like and not representative of what we think of as Clemson Fans' behavior. Looked like that poor old security dude down there was having no luck with the mouthy frat boys. I felt sorry for the old guy!

Yeah I think we went a little too far with that bullpen set up.
Fans don’t need to get that close.
And it looks like some of our people are real #########.
But it was kind of funny when that fat security guy was holding up his credential in their faces.
As if that was going to make things any less obnoxious. LOL

Those fans didn't look like they were being obnoxious at all to me at least from the TV standpoint. I've seen much worse behavior at other stadiums.
Guess the "Clutch my Pearls" folks are going to look for anything to say "I told you so" about beer sales. I saw the NCAA rep showing his badge laugh at one point. There were intoxicated people at games before beer sales especially with Clemson's "pass out" policy where you could go to your car to drink.
BTW. Now that we have beer sales is that policy of being able to leave and comeback going to stop now at football games? Kind of hope it does and maybe the atmosphere will not be so dead during the first half of the 3rd quarter.

It’s normal to get close enough to a bullpen to yell things at the pitcher. And if he’s mentally tough enough, he can tune it out.
But there’s no way fans should be able to get right in the pitcher’s face like that.
It’s something Bakich wanted, and I understand why.
But I don’t think everyone involved completely thought it through.

I don’t love beer sales but I get it. So I can accept that part. I think the bullpen setup is just a bad idea - nothing to do with beer. No way we should put fans right on top of opposing players. I think it’s a bad look for Clemson.

Just wait till Football season...There will be plenty of stories to be told...The security folks will be even more busier than past seasons...I sit in lower part of Sec TDS and I fully expect it will be a season like no other for the security people because of the opposing teams fans and ours that set way up above me
