Climate change contributed to the way it was son flammable. Poor infrastructure and planning made it so it was harder to get under control. How it exactly started I haven't heard.

Yea, I remember back when LA was lush; the Mesozoic era.***

It's much dryer and there is less rain. That all you need know. The change is noticed around the globe, even in places like Siberia where the permanent first is disappearing. In North America the Bread Basket is creeping North. It's happening, bud.

Yes....extremes.

Yep, even back in the mid-1800s... Before that, you'll have to ask the Natives.***

We use science and it's global science. That said, in certain areas we can go back hundreds of thousands of years with ice core samples.

True. I was speaking of CA and Santa Ana winds and wildfires in particular.

This isn't new. It's just more congested and much more valuable.

Of course it isn't new. You're just word of mouth from indigenous people and I am saying we have progressed past your scientific approach.

The mid-1800s was documented. Again, this isn't new.***

Yes. You mentioned the indigenous people's word and what they saw as how you gauge it. Or some painting on walls maybe? Who knows why you were using that as an example? Anyway, we have progressed well past your approach.

Sigh it’s questions like this that make it clear that climate deniers will never understand what climate change is. Just willful ignorance

iDK, there were wildfires in Jersey this year, kind of a new thing, and of course, despite contrary claims, it is not peak wildfire season in Califonia right now, it is the rainy season.
