Just awful unfortunately. Filled with busts and underperformance. DJ leads it off with his well known circus. Bresee, who battled through injuries and off the field issues, never really met his potential. Myles Murphy was inconsistent at times. Trenton Simpson and Capehart (finally) are bright spots, but the list goes on. EJ Williams, DEMARKUS BOWMAN, Ajou Ajou, Sergio Allen. Yikes.

Indeed. 18, 19, and 20 had more than their fair share of misses for one reason or another. Someone posted here sometime ago and said that about half of the 3 classes never panned out.

clause of your run-on sentence. Fwiw I'll reiterate, Linthicum was the #1C coming out of hs but was never close to being rated a 5☆. He was a mid level 4☆ but still clearly a MISS—

Didn’t he gain like 75-100 lbs from high school to enrolling in Clemson? His first year here was spent trying to get his body right.

The Saints thought his potential was just fine, but sorry you’re disappointed he let you down.Young men who earn 100s of scholarship offers from division 1 football schools is impressive enough to me, unfortunately they don’t always work out like planned. Go Tigers!

All these guys would theoretically be 4th year Seniors now. To be honest RJ Mickens is about the only guy that's been a solid contributor his entire Clemson career. The others were either busts or just showed flashes and then cashed in on their potential at the next level. We probably should have seen the results of this year coming (particularly with our lack of explosiveness offensively) with so many misses.
